**Our Journey**
FWL, Inc. was founded in 2017, initially known as Financial Fitness With Lynn. Our journey began with notary services and advocating for financial literacy among young adults and seniors, whom we affectionately call "Wisers" (age 60+).
**Our Programs and Services**
- Financial Literacy Advocacy:We are dedicated to educating high school students about essential financial skills. Through engaging workshops, we teach young people, seniors, and everyone in between about credit management, banking & budgeting, and the importance of building a strong financial foundation for their future. Recognizing the vulnerability of seniors to financial scams, we launched the "Wisers Advocacy" program to help the elderly identify, resolve, and prevent such threats.
- Real Estate Education: After the devastating loss of real estate during Hurricane Katrina and a challenging home-buying process, we expanded our services in December 2021 to include real estate education. We aim to provide real estate education to uninformed communities, including high school students and young adults. Education includes the fundamentals of real estate purchasing and leasing to equip individuals with the basic knowledge to make informed decisions and mitigate the risks of receiving subpar representation during their transactions.
- Affordable Mobile Live Scan Services: Recognizing the barriers faced by residents of the High Desert, we introduced affordable and mobile Live Scan services in March 2021. This service helps individuals complete necessary background checks for employment, licensing, and more, without the burden of high fees and transportation challenges.
**Community Engagement**
We partner with the High Desert Sports Foundation to provide real estate education within school districts and the local community. The program provideds students with foundational understanding of real estate transactions, helping them start their journey in the industry and gain valuable basic knowledge for future home purchases.
